Extensive use of technology is an integral part of the General Surgery Residency Program.

• All first year residents are required to complete a web based basic science course via OnCourse, Indiana University's electronic course system.
• Our integrated hospital system relies extensively on the use of technology both in and out of the operating room.
• Faculty and Residents complete their evaluations via an electronic system called E*Value.
• The Center for Surgical Technology is an integral portion of residency training.
• The Resident Technology Committee has developed an intranet site to assist residents in the use of technology throughout their residency program.
